VAPOUR BLOCK

DuROCK Vapour Block is formulated with a co-polymer styrene-butadiene emulsion. It is a trowel applied high performance coating, applied onto non-combustible substrates as an air, vapour, and moisture barrier for PUCCS and InsulROCK Systems. The low water absorption combined with a high flexural strength makes Vapour Block an ideal water penetration barrier for use on exterior wall systems; in particular glass-fibre faced gypsum sheathing, cement board, concrete, or masonry substrates. As part of an air barrier system for a wall assembly, Vapour Block is compatible with most transition membranes comprised of bituminous SBS with fabric or cross-laminated polyethylene backing, as well as bituminous mastics and polyurethane foam sealants.

POLAR BEAR

It is a trowel-applied high performance coating for use over wood substrates as both an air and moisture barrier.

Polar Bear is formulated with a 100% acrylic emulsion. Polar Bear contains fibers that enhance the cohesive and tensile strength for added durability. Polar Bear can also be used as an insulation adhesive. The low water absorption combined with a high flexural strength makes Polar Bear an ideal water penetration barrier for use on exterior wall systems; in particular plywood 12.7 mm (½ inch) thick and oriented strand board (OSB), minimum 11.1 mm (7/16 inch) thick.

ROLLER BEAR

Roller Bear is intended for use as the first coat in a two-coat moisture barrier system that serves as the second plane of protection behind PUCCS EIFS.

Roller Bear is a factory-blended, ready-to-use, non- cementitious, polymeric coating that is supplied in 19 L (5 US gallon), 28 kg (62 lb) pails and is applied by spray, brush, or roller in a continuous layer to achieve a minimum dry thickness of 0.28 mm (11 mils) per coat.

CEMENT BEAR

DuROCK Cement Bear is formulated with a 100% acrylic emulsion that is field-mixed with Portland Cement. DuROCK One Step Ready Mix is a formulated dry-mix cement parging, leveling coat and stucco base coat that is field-mixed with water.

It is a trowel-applied polymer modified cement plaster, a mixture of Portland cement, silica sand, and dry-resins. It is a versatile product that can be used as a leveling coat for conventional stucco, concrete and masonry substrates, and also as the scratch and brown coats for Stucco Plus. One Step Ready Mix has the benefit of high-early compressive and tensile strength, with excellent freeze-thaw stability and low water absorption. It is a convenient product since it requires only water to be added on site. One Step Ready Mix contains 1/4″ fibers that enhance the cohesive and adhesive strength for added durability. It is also a low-shrinkage polymer modified cement that makes it ideal for uneven leveling coats.

B.I.G EXTRA (BRUSH IT GREY)

B.I.G Extra is a dry mix cement parge specifically designed to enhance the appearance of cast-in-place concrete walls.

B.I.G Extra is polymer modified and requires only the addition of water. B.I.G Extra hides surface irregularities such as cold joints, colour variations, and form distortions. B.I.G Extra can also be used to disguise minor cracking and honeycombs. B.I.G Extra is available in 44 lb (20 kg) bags.

ONE STEP CONCENTRATE

DuROCK One Step Concentrate is a formulated dry-mix concentrate for use in cement parging, leveling coats and stucco base coats.

It is field-mixed with Portland cement, silica sand and water. One Step Concentrate is a trowel or spray-applied polymer modified cement plaster, a mixture of minerals, fine aggregates, and dry-resins. B2000 is an acrylic-modified cementitious dry mix base coat designed for use over Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF).

B2000 forms a strong yet flexible, crack resistant base coat that is intended for use on the exterior, above-grade portion of ICF foundation walls. B2000 has high flexural and bond strength, is water vapour permeable, and has excellent freeze/thaw stability with low water absorption and low shrinkage.

PREP COAT

Prep Coat is 100% acrylic emulsion that is field-mixed with Portland Cement.

It is a trowel-applied high performance coating for use on PUCCS and InsulROCK Systems as a non-combustible base coat and adhesive. Prep Coat is a flexible and durable base coat that can also be used as a leveling coat for stucco, concrete and masonry substrates. PREP COAT PLUS

Prep Coat Plus is 100% styrene acrylic emulsion that is field-mixed with Portland Cement.

It is a trowel-applied high performance coating for use on PUCCS RMC and InsulROCK RMC Systems as a base coat and adhesive with enhanced flexibility and strength. Prep Coat Plus is a flexible and durable base coat that can also be used as a leveling coat for stucco, concrete and masonry substrates. It has excellent freeze-thaw stability, low water absorption, and breathable to water vapour. Prep Coat Plus can be applied as a high-build leveling coat, for added impact resistance on EIFS or to make a wall plumb and flat, applied up to 6.4 mm (1/4 inch) thick in a single pass if required.

PREP COAT D

Prep Coat is dry polymer based dry-mix material that is field-mixed with water.

Prep Coat Q is a fast drying, dry polymer based dry-mix material that is field-mixed with water.

It is ideal for use in cold temperature, high humidity conditions. It is a trowel-applied high performance coating for use on PUCCS and InsulROCK Systems as a non-combustible base coat and adhesive. Prep Coat Q is a flexible and durable base coat that can also be used as a leveling coat for stucco, concrete and masonry substrates. It has excellent freeze-thaw stability, low water absorption, breathable to water vapour and non-combustible. It is a convenient product since it requires only water to be added on site.

PERFECT PARGE

Perfect Parge is a polymer based dry-mix material that.

It is a trowel-applied adhesive for use in the attachment of decorative moldings and EPS trim on PUCCS and InsulROCK Systems. Perfect Parge is a flexible and durable base coat that can also be used as a leveling coat for stucco, concrete and masonry substrates. It has excellent freeze-thaw stability, low water absorption, breathable to water vapour and non-combustible. It is a convenient product since it requires only water to be added on site.

PREP COAT NCP

Prep Coat NCP or Non-cementitious Prep Coat, is formulated with a 100% styrene acrylic emulsion.

It is a trowel applied high performance coating for use as an optional base coat on the PUCCS RMC and InsulROCK RMC Systems, as well as the Exterior Finish Systems. NCP is a factory-mixed base coat that does not require the addition of water or Portland cement.

FIBREGLASS MESH

Mesh for DuROCK Exterior Insulation Finish Systems is made of alkali-resistant fibreglass.

All mesh is made by a DuROCK-approved manufacturer, with DuROCK’s logo plainly visible on the 5 ounce and high-impact reinforcing mesh products.

EPS BOARD

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) insulation board for Exterior Insulation Finish Systems.

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is made of 100% virgin polystyrene resin, aged and cut in accordance with the requirements of ASTM E2430, and compliant with ULC-S701. Please refer to EIF System specifications for applicable thicknesses & sheet size.

PUCC-ROCK

PUCC-ROCK insulation is non-combustible mineral fibre/wool manufactured by Rockwool, compliant with CAN/ULC-S702.1 and CAN/ULC-S 114.

Thermal resistance value is RSI 0.70 per 25 mm (R 4.0 per inch). PUCC-ROCK insulation incorporates a geometrically defined drainage cavity (GDDC) on the backside that is 10 mm deep and 37% open. PUCC-ROCK insulation includes an integral alkali-resistant fibreglass mesh on the front side. PUCC-ROCK insulation is available in 51, 76, 102, 127, and 152 mm (2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 inch) thicknesses.

UNI-TRACK

Uni-Track is a PolyVinyl Chloride (PVC) extrusion designed to be used at horizontal terminations and at horizontal joints where Exterior Insulation Finish Systems are expected to drain.

Its one-size-fits-all profile eliminates the need to stock different profiles for every insulation thickness. Uni-Track is three inches (76 mm) high, one inch (25 mm) wide, and ten feet (3.05 m) long. It is white in colour, but can be painted with most exterior latex paints.

UNI-FLASH

Uni-Flash self-flashing drainage track is a PVC extrusion designed to be used at window heads and other similar locations where Exterior Insulation Finish Systems are expected to drain.

It’s one-size-fits-all profile eliminates the need to stock different profiles for every insulation thickness. Uni-Flash is two inches wide (50 mm), three inches high (75 mm), and ten feet (3 m) long. It is white in colour, but it can be painted with most exterior latex paints.

PROTECTO WRAP PRIMER FREE EIFS TAPE

Primer Free Stucco/EIFS Tape is a high performance tape designed for use with Stucco and EIFS systems to seal around penetrations and at sheathing joints and window / door flanges.

Primer Free Stucco/EIFS Tape can be applied to most substrates without the use of primer or mechanical fasteners. The polyester fabric top layer provides an excellent bonding surface for cementitious and synthetic stucco coatings.

TROWEL FINISHES

Trowel Finishes are premixed, water-based, 100% acrylic coatings available in several textures and unlimited colours.

Trowel Finishes are flexible, breathable, water-repelling, dirt pick-up resistant (DPR), ultra-violet resistant finishes consisting of granulated quartz or marble, pigment, resin and other additives specially formulated for both exterior and interior use. Trowel Finishes are ideally suited for both new and/or retrofit construction. Trowel Finishes are available in several textures distinguished by their aggregate size and application technique. Coarse Coat, Desert Sand, Grain, Marble Coat, Max Coat, Pebble Rock, Sand Coat, Spacco, and Venetian finishes are trowel-applied coatings designed for use over wall and ceiling areas. Fine Coat and Pebble Coat finishes are trowel-applied coatings designed for use over details such as cornice, quoins, columns, etc.

SPRAY FINISHES

Spray Finishes are premixed, water-based, 100% acrylic coatings available in several textures and unlimited colours.

Spray Finishes are flexible, breathable, water-repelling, dirt pick-up resistant (DPR), ultraviolet resistant finishes consisting of silica sand, pigment, resin and other additives formulated for both exterior and interior use. Spray Finishes are ideally suited for both new and/or retrofit construction. Whereas Pebble Spray and Fine Spray are intended for details only, the remaining Spray Finishes are designed for use over wall and ceiling areas.

PLUS FINISHES

Plus Finishes are formulated with 100% acrylic emulsions designed especially for use in elastomeric wall coatings, providing outstanding exterior durability, as well as excellent elasticity and elongation properties that are required to bridge continually over cracks without wrinkling.

Due to the low glass-transition temperature, these finishes are able to maintain flexibility across a broad range of temperatures. Plus Finishes can be color-tinted, and are intended for application on vertical wall surfaces. These finishes are most effective when applied over rigid substrates (such as cement plasters and concrete), and can also be used with EIFS and Exterior Finishing Systems. Plus Finishes are formulated to have excellent dirt-pick-up resistance, and superior water resistance as well as resistance to chalking. The dirt pick-up resistant chemistry of Plus Finishes enables the coating to maintain its attractive appearance, while providing superior resistance to the effects of acid rain, pollution and ultra-violet light. Water beads on the surface thereby washing away the dirt. Plus Finishes are permeable to water vapour, which permits open vapour diffusion through wall assemblies.

Roller Finishes are premixed, water-based, 100% acrylic coatings available in several textures and unlimited colors.

Roller Finishes are flexible, breathable, water-repelling, dirt pick-up resistant (DPR), ultraviolet resistant finishes consisting of fine fillers, pigment, resin and other additives formulated for both exterior and interior use. Roller Finishes are ideally suited for both new and/or retrofit construction. Roll On (small aggregate), Roll On Coarse (large aggregate) and Airless (no aggregate) are intended for use on decorative moldings and a variety of wall surfaces.

Angel Stone is a decorative textured protective coating engineered for use over any system. Angel Stone is a 100% acrylic finish containing bronze mica flakes and pearlescent pigments giving the finish a shimmering effect. Angel Stone is a trowel-applied finish texture available in hundreds of colors.

TRICOL

Tricol finish is a premixed, water-based, acrylic, quartz stone finish available in many color combinations.

Tricol can be both trowel and spray-applied, used for wall and ceiling areas, as well as for details such as cornice, quoins, columns, etc.

UNIGUM

Unigum is designed for use where an elastic, waterproof, dirt-resistant coating is required.

Unigum is a premixed, water-based, elastomeric acrylic coating available in unlimited colors. Unigum actually bridges cracks – spanning the crack as it expands – and returning to its original form when the crack contracts. Unigum’s ability to resist ultraviolet degradation and its low-temperature flexibility ensures it will retain its color and overall appearance for years to come.

SPACCO

Spacco is a decorative protective coating designed for use as a textured free hand faux finish.

Spacco is ideal for use in both interior and exterior applications, in new construction or renovations, and in commercial, industrial, institutional and residential projects. Spacco is a 100% acrylic, flexible, breathable coating. Spacco is a trowel-applied finish texture and upon request, can be custom colored to match any customer-specified color.

CRYSTAL COAT

Crystal Coat is a gypsum-based decorative textured protective coating designed for use as a textured, free hand faux finish base coat.

POOL QUARTZ

Pool Quartz is a complete pool plaster mix that is a combination of white Portland cement, crushed marble, mineral fillers, additives and 3M Color Quartz.

Pool Quartz cures to a smooth, hard surface. Pool Quartz has excellent abrasion resistance and with the addition of 3M Color Quartz it performs upwards of three times better against both mechanical and chemical wear compared to conventional plaster.
